Help! I noticed after our walk yesterday that my little Lexus has a red spot on each of her paws (on the same pad on each front paw). I noticed her licking her feet, at first just thinking she was cleaning them, but then she didn't stop! Do you think a 30 minute daily walk could give her sore pads? I take my other yorkie too, and her paws are fine.
what should I do to help her paws heal now? Is it okay for her to continue licking them - will they heal on their own?
Should I put an antiboitic creme on the sore spots and put baby socks on her?
Is there a creme I can get at the pet store to sooth her worn paw?
Any suggestions, would greatly be appreciated!!
