4 weeks ago and the person that hit it, I was in the car, won't report
it to the insurance co so I can't collect! However, I don't know him but
he works where I do and I am waiting for an appt to see his boss! I called
the insurance co with update info from his records from work. They had
different address and phone #. They can't contact him and he has not
called the accident in. The said he had 30 days to report it and they
are not obligated to pay unless he does! Really I said. I have two witnessess
and I did not call the cops. It was a fender bender, he was spaced out
and said he didn't hit me while his car was still attached to mine.
I was
stopped honking my horn because I could see him backing into me.
He exited a parking space in reverse like a jet plane!
I filed a police report after the fact. I was told in the past it was not
necessary to call the cops just to exchange info if it was minor. Wrong
info to be sure. He gave me the info but never even asked my name and
I did not give it to him. I am not going threw mine. I have a 500.00 deductable and the damage was 520.08. Ins will send me 20.00 until
they collect and they can't because his co can't contact him because
he is advoiding it. He does not know I work here so he's in for a very
big surprise when his boss calls him in. He's a teacher too so when the
superintendent get's involved he's going to be in shock! I don't care
he's going to pay for my car. It's so frustrating. If I have to take him
to court I will. His ins is good, licence good but he's a loser!
Can't wait to see his face when he's called in the superintendent's office
tomorrow. Got ya!
