I definitely understand. When we brought Vivi, our rescue, home in March, I believe she thought the crate was the correct place to poo. We have been working on this and she is much improved. I think keeping a schedule and positive reinforcement have really helped. Also, in the beginning I also kept her on a leash everywhere in the house. Hope all goes well with your training and don't give up. They are so worth it!
