Default Sorry to hear the news

I'm in Kentucky too. What part are you in~? I've always heard that Yorkshire Terriers are hypoallergic. Whether it is true, I don't know. I do know that it may not be the dog and even tho the Doctor is suggesting that it is. If your not orignally from Kentucky as I am, that everyone whom has never suffered from allergies will if they live in Kentucky. For some reason, everyone whom I have spoke to whom has moved here has told me that they never had allergies and now they have to take meds or shots. I would check into this further before getting rid of the dog. It could be that your child has an allergy to a food, and a lot of folks do. He could be allergic to wheat or gluten, for example. Check the health food stores and talk to them about your issues and they have books and other sources to look up for you. Trying to live without wheat for instance, if that is the issue isn't a problem. They have all sorts of wheat-free products in the health food stores or whatever your allergy is, to combat your problem. Good Luck and keep us posted.
