Aaack! I'm just seeing this! YES there's a HUGE possibility that the bullystick is adding to or bringing on the runs. I've been told that the Bully sticks are hard for them to digest. Bailey does not do well with them. Every time I would give him a Bully stick he would have a problem. Your baby might not have a problem with bully sticks, HOWEVER right after having boughts of bathroom problems I would not give it to him. I would wait at least a week, week and a half and only allow him to have it for like 5 min. at a time and then let him slowly work his way up time wise to chewing it longer. If it seems that his system can handle it then you can let him have it longer. I hope that makes sense. Sorry it took so long for me to respond. How's he doing now? I have Bailey on a power probiotic too! I use a pill form tho.

He was chewing on a bully stick this morning.
His first stool this morning was soft yellow and formed, as it had been all week.
The next stool (after the bully stick) was back to a dark colour, but was very runny and watery.
Would the bully stick bring on the runniness that soon again after eating it? It is more likely to be the Orijen that I started the day before?
Is the colour change a good sign? |
