They probably all know to see the vet and buy a crate. I would find it condescending if someone told me that.
However, I make up a tentative schedule of the puppies' day so they know what to expect from them. When they eat, when they sleep, when they poop etc. When and how much you feed them and where they like to sleep. I also send along a blanket that the puppies have been sleeping on so it smells like their litter mates.
Preparing yourself is much more difficult. I find it to be bitter sweet. The new owners asre so happy it makes the leaving less sad. I give them all a kiss good bye and wish them a "Happy Life" That is where I always tear up.
