For the past few weeks Madison has started licking both my husband and me very frequently. She likes to lick our arms and fingers when we are holding her on our lap or when she is lying in bed with us. I wouldn’t be so concerned if it was something she did always, but she just started with the licking now (she is 14 months old).
I have read that this could mean a number of things – she is hungry, she is being affectionate, or that maybe it’s a sign of dental problems!! Before Madison, I had a 130 lb Golden Retriever – not exactly your typical lap dog

so I don’t know if this is normal or not!
Any info on this is greatly appreciated!! THANKS
