High Protein does not cause liver or kidney problems, but if there are existing problems they can be exacerbated by high protein causing them to be noticed.
*I am not a vet. | Thanks for the input...Apple doesn't have any probs w/liver/kidney, but I work, so I just hate for her to have a bunch of energy, from high protein, and me not home to play with, or take her for a walk (we walk twice a day for 30 minutes)...Does Lily like Orijen puppy? Apple is almost a year old (10 1/2 months), so it will be time to switch her to adult soon, don't you think? But I'm good w/puppy, for the time being, if she likes it...Fortunately, Apple can eat almost any (high-quality) food w/no side effects...Just trying to get something that is really good for her, and she likes... |
