My 5 month old Tootsie Anne was just treated for Staph infection too...She was given oral tablets of Cephalexin for 10 days. Her skin looked different though hers looked like little pimples in her little area!!!
Her itching decrease greatly within the first 24 hours of taking the antibiotics.
