my only addition is, There's a lot of hurried activity on moving day, so once everything is moved in slow it down. As much as you want to get right to work unpacking, take some time to just sit with Pixie and let her explore her new home with you. Eat a meal, take a short walk, watch tv, play a little. And when you move from room to room be sure to talk to her. "Come on Pixie, lets go to the kitchen." "Pixie, I'm headed to the bedroom, wanna come." "Pixie run get Momma that lamp out of the living room." Your talking and being calm and unfrazzled will go a long way to helping her be calm and to get settled in.
