The last 2 weeks have been very stressful for me, as I've done something I never thought I'd do. I whelped 2 litters within 48 hours......What I've learned from that is I never plan to do that again. I'd never lost a pup in my breeding endevors, this time I lost 2.... mommie delivered prematurely. I lost 1 the first 24 hours and the 2nd at a week old.....Nursing, meds, hand feeding could not save them....their lungs were not developed enough to pull them through. The good thing is that 2 out of the 4 made it and they are fat and sassy

I don't know how I'd have survived had it not been for my husband....what a great whelper and my rock. While I'm off to dog shows in Texas, he's staying at home taking care of the yorkie crew, mommies, babies and the rest.

Once again thank you all so much.

I am so very sorry that you lost two little ones Mary. That just shows how really classy you are because even through your trials you have still been helping others, giving your time and knowledge that you learned through hard work.

I have learned so much from you, Dee, Barbara and Deb of Amazing Yorkies- I thank all of you and you all give and give - answering every question with patience for us new to breeding and or new to owning Yorkies. The information found on this site is priceless and all of you have made that possible. I wish you all the best in Texas! God Speed.
