As a groomer i can tell you it is easier if you take her in as soon as she has completed her puppy shots. The younger they are the easier it is for everyone.
The first haircut usualy is around 4 months (16 weeks), we suually just bath, dry, nails, sani and light trim. If there are any issues we give Mom homeowrk (and yes we can always tell if you have worked with your little munchkin).
The older the dog usually the more difficult of a time we have...
