Ah, don't think like that. I am sure God is responsible for the good day you had with Coach and the very fact that you got him to the vet in time to take care of his infection before it got any worse. It is a shame after having your first 24 hour success with no peeing problem, he had to go back to the vet. Maybe that had something to do with the problem? But anyway, it sounds like the vet has it all under control and he will probably be back with you in no time! He just wants to make sure it heals well since it is his surgery.

You definately did the caring and responsible thing to get him neutered. Don't ever worry about that! A little infection is common. My mom had to go through this with her papillion when he was neutered. Maybe it is because they are so active, they wind up letting bacteria in the stitch area more than a restful dog would. But her papillion healed right up after they got him on antibiotics and the sutures redone. We are all pulling for Coach! Try not to worry!
