I am going to have to do some more research on this. Basically it is saying that all "meals" can contain by-products and foods claiming to be free of by-products that list "meals" are lying. This is getting horrible! If you can't even believe what they put on the label for ingredients, what are you supposed to do. I guess the answer goes back to home-made again! I did cook for mine for quite a while but decided they would actually get a better all around nutrition from a high quality commercially prepared food. But if they just lie about ingredients, I think I can do better than that......
