What on earth is going on?

Can we not trust ANY pet food companies?
It is not only Purina that is being gone after. It seems Wellness, TOTW, and all or any companies who use "meals" in their products?
All the foods we thought were better than the "lower quality foods" are the same what we did not want to feed?
And what about the companies that say they use foods "fit for human consumption"? They are in all this to?
Good grief! I am so confused.
