Flea bombs are largely useless. They won't kill the eggs and a couple of weeks from now...the fleas will still be there and multiplying again.
If you have carpeting boric acid is effective in killing the fleas and interupts the development of the eggs. It's a powder....sprinkle it on the carpet and brush in with a stiff bristle broom.
