She was kept in a room with her mom and grandmom with one bowl of water and one bowl of food. The previous owner sprayed the grass with pesticides so strong, it would burn their paws. She is now a healthy, sassy 9 pound yorkie. However, she has baggage. She cannot be without water. She panics. We have had almost all of the tests we could to see if there is something wrong, but fortunately all tests came back negative. Our youngest yorkie is a little over a year. We were able to get him last October. The previous owner had a history of buying dogs and getting rid of them. He was boarded frequently and not socialized. He weighed a little over 2 pounds at 9 months and always had the shakes. He was so thin, you could feel his microchip. Almost a year later, he is almost 5 pounds. He is steadily gaining the yorkie confidence he should have.
What a great story you have! Thank you for saving both of your little ones. You should post some pictures so that we can give a great big oooooo and aaawwww
