Hi I have a 9 month who has never realy been all the way on dry. She had severe case of hypoglocimia. But after she was in the clear I tried and tried to get her to eat dry. she would do it for awhile then turn her nose to it. We add chicken (she loves it) that worked for awhile wet it down with chicken broth salt free organic, to soften it some no help. I swith brand 4 times, she started out good loving it and then after a week or 2 done with it.
So, then she was at the time 7 1/2 months old I started to skip meals, I would put down the bowl for 20 min. then take it away then try again at lunch with fresh food. same thing then I would end up at night giving her mix wet and dry food together so she would eat it of course she did the same as yours licked it and left the dry. After a week of this she has lost wgt. and is she had started to refuse the wet food plane even. I was scared with her lack of energy and wgt. and the everything with hypo didnt want that to come back. Oh and she wgt little over 5 pounds

I broke down and started to make homecook meals with a puppy vita. I make a big batch that makes about 2 weeks worth and freeze it in 3 day bags. very spendy though. She gained 1 pound in 2 weeks. I still leave out some dry food for her to see but usually she doesnt touch it. She plays with it, one at a time thing lol. I am getting a new pup soon I hope he can teach her how to eat her dry. But I also will be feeding her first so he doesnt get any Ideas. Then I let her watch him eat his specialy around lunch time she down to only 2 meals plus her treats aday. he will be free feed and Ill start slowly to put him too on schedual. This is the best to see how much they eat. Mine was hand feed for about a 2 week after her epiosod she litrally licking it off my finger, it was that bad then.

She does love her home cooked meals so who knows but she is itching realy bad but then again she was starting too do that before I started the home cooking but I wonder if its the chicken. I am switching to lamb $$$$$ omg but I need to see what will stop her allergies. Oh and I already changed her shampoos twice too no cure and vet says we have to eliminate thing slowly. so gl I hope you find maybe one of these Ideas to work for you it has worked for others. sorry so long.
