I always use a band, and most of the time I just cover the band with a mini claw clip. For special occasions, he wears a bow, and those usually have bands sew on to the back, but I just use that band to hold bow in place, not tight like I do the regular band, he also has some barrettes with sports themes, and I use those clipped around some of the hair in the topknot, otherwise he can just shake it off.

Thanks! Anyone have any ideas on how to make them sit still while putting it in? Would putting peanut butter on the counter in a dish help?
