I know...it is just unbelievable how these people get licensed.
I am also very fortunate to have an excellent vet. When she is on vacation, I pray the entire time that my pups will not have issues. It is SO hard to find a vet you can trust like that.
I still do not have an internal med specialist I totally trust...a couple in the area who are board certified, BUT I do not care for the support staff. They actually mixed torb incorrectly recently and could have killed one of my pups had I not known what I do. Long story, but they really, really messed up and one of my pups got pretty messed up. Luckily I caught it and he is ok...but it could have been disastrous.
We do have some excellent board certified surgeons in the area.
