Tessie was spayed on Sept.4, she did great. She started bleeding from a hematoma( common) when we were leaving the vet but he repaired this and bandaged her belly. She had to stay overnight but my vet stayed there with her. This broke my heart but I knew he would take care of her. The belly band has been great because she has already wanting to run and jump. I was told to prevent this for 14 days. She only had pain meds the first 2 nights. She is eating, drinking, and pottying like always. We also had our 5 1/2 month old male neutered at the same time but he came home. Hobbes acts like nothing hurts except his feelings because now he can't be a stud. The bandage has been great because he will not leave Tessie alone. We have her bandage checked on Wednesday. |
