I just googled this and find that sometimes dogs do get a bulls eye rash, but it is less commonly seen in them.
People don't always get a rash either, but it is more common in people.
I know that I would want my dog tested if I had any concerns just to be on the safe side, since once you have symptoms, there are often many problems. Better safe than sorry.
