Hi everyone, my little Rio is 6 months old and weighs 2 lbs. 11 oz. I want to have her spayed but I'm afraid she is so little and the anesthesia/surgery will be too dangerous for her. I don't think she will get much bigger - I'll be surprised if she gets to 3 lbs.

Should I wait until she is older and possible gets bigger? Or is it safe to have her spayed now?
