I just got finished dealing with one of my girls and a staph infection.....After she had her last litter, she blew coat on her hind quarters....bumps began to appear, she was itching and scratching non stop.....Staph must be treated internally....get her to the vet. Your vet will prescribe Cefa-Drops (cefadroxil)....administered twice a day for 10 days......When we completed the meds, itching is non-existent, bumbs disappeared, and coat growing back. I had applied panalog.....vet informed me it was hot and kept the infection moist.....it had to be treated internally.
