Omg I saw that movie! So freaky! At the end, or maybe it's the beginning...it says "inspired by true events" or whatever...so of course I had to look into it. The director said he wrote the story w/ the Manson Family members in mind, and the crimes they'd commit as a group. This move was scary, but the ending was kind of a letdown, for some reason...
[trivia....I went to high school w/ Charles Manson's son, his name was Brian. His Mom, Shelly, was one of the Manson girlfriends who shaved her head and went to trial/prison and all that. She was from my hometown. Brian was a very nice, gentle person - and I think his life turned out okay. Anyway, just made me think of him after all these years...]
