We've got separate bedrooms at home because we both snore a lot, so Higgins starts out with Don and usually winds up with me. I put a stool by my high bed. Pogo is getting old (12) and now prefers his bed on the floor when we are home. When we are in our camper, Higgins sleeps in Don's bed and Pogo sleeps in mine!
I remember many nights when I was a widow living in Vermont, when I slept with a Sheltie, a Sheltie puppy, a tailess cat, Pogo, and a ferret under the covers! Sure was nice and warm! Then there was the night when an ermine got in the house somehow and all of them were chasing it around my bedroom at 3 in the morning! The ermine left and never came back.....hmmm....
Higgins was only 7 wks old when we got him and we were sleeping on 24" wide beds in our camper! But we never rolled over on him......I sat on him once, though, and thought I had killed him! Stayed up all night watching over him......he's fine......a little crazy, though....do you suppose?????.....hmmmm |
