Not sure what I can add here, but thought I might try to help.
Food: I would keep him on RC, it is a great brand of quality dog food which he is going to need, but with him being so young I would try to put some warm water or even mix a very tiny bit of soft dog food or even chicken baby food with it. But like I said RC is a good high quality food that he should do quite well on.

Potty Training: It is going to take lots of time and patience. I would try to restrict him to a certain small area of the house by using an xpen or baby gate and closely monitor his eating and drinking, watch for wondering and sniffing and place him on the pads or take him out. Like I said though it is going to be time and patience and consistency. He will learn but this will take time.

Crying: He is very young and does not know what to do without with mom and littermates- you could try to get a heartbeat toy at night or even a warm water bottle. You are just going to have to pay no attention to it or he'll catch on that it got your attention and that he gets his way- completely ignore him- EASIER SAID THEN DONE! He will get used to sleeping on his own slowly too.

Good luck with everything, he is just like a newborn, it is going to take lots of time and patience and most of consistency!
