My plan is to keep Fergus in coat, (he is almost 9 months old).

Originally we brushed 5-10 minutes a day and a bath about once every 8-12 days.

Now that his coat is coming in, and its silky, we are up to about 10 minutes of brushing daily, top knot fixing every day or two (5 minutes) and a bath weekly (about an hour from first splash to finish blow dry and bow!)

I have a groomer do the ears/paws/nails/sanitary about every 6 weeks and trim Hamish down (I am not keeping a 20 pound yorkie in coat! forget it!!) every 3 months.

I do the face washing thing every couple of days because he hates it. A lot. I can do almost anything but he is funny about his muzzle.

My SO says I need to trim him, but, I just cant bring myself to!
