Darlene we have stairs for the bed and the sofa. Sky now sleeps with me and the rest of the gang in the bed and goes up and down to potty. Just make sure you measure and the steps are high enough to the bed and I have the six steps because they are less steep. I had a four step one for the other dogs but Sky couldn't do those so I traded those in and got him the six step one and now he runs up and down all day long. Now I sleep better because he doesn't cry all night.
