We have two, a 4-step and 3-step. (Window and bed). The 3-step goes from the floor to our wicker trunk, with cushion, to the bed. We would put him on our bed and call him so he would get use to using his stairs. It only took about 30 minutes or so for him to get the hang of it. We would watch him when we left the room to make sure he used them and not jumped down.
