Yesterday he vomited and i brought him right in and he crashed in the office and gave him some sugar. ( he was getting nutra cal several times a day since i got him too) they sent me to the 24 hour hospital and they admitted him. his sugar is stable, they immediately found a very bad coccidia infection and they are treating him and he is getting fluids. He is not eating and im really concerned for he is now 15oz at 9 weeks. they are even offering him canned food ...but still not eating and he is very weak.
I called the breeder and they said...too bad you bought him! what nerve. but i am sure if i brought him back that they would just let him die.
pray for him
OMG ~ What a horrible breeder....First off letting him go at 9 weeks was wrong too. Was it a Petstore or a Broker??? And yes, if you brought him back, then would let him die

Coccidia is very common, I am glad he is at the Hospital. I know alot of pups like Cesaers canned dog food, so maybe get that. Or boil some lean chicken breast (drain and save some of the broth) - boil some rice or noodles and mix together with the shredded chicken and broth, he may like that
