If the parents of your pup are able to be registered with AKC, meaning their parents were purebred and Registered with AKC. Your breeder has the capability of registering your pups parents with AKC. An expensive process but, doable. Your breeder must clear up all the paper work, register the litter, then provide you with the paper work before you can register your pup.
