Sorry, I didn't get on at all yesterday. I went to work and left Steph with her. But I kept calling her for updates...I didn't get much work done, but the important things were completed
So, needless to say last night was all about cuddling and taking care of Bijou!
Bijou is doing amazingly well! She was actually putting pressure on the broken leg the day after surgery. The following day when I got her out of her crate and put her on her potty pad, she hopped right over my hand trying to run and play. I know that's a huge no-no right now and was so shocked by her bounce back already.
I truly think the knowledge I got from this site helped me to save her life. You all told me to have the Nutri Cal on hand for a puppy. I had been giving it to her daily, but on Wednesday morning when I seen how white her gums were I gave her a double dose and rushed to my vet's. By the time I got to the vet's (just 10 minutes away) her gums were pink. That stuff is amazing and so are you all! Thank you all for being so supportive and giving me a yorkie lover's shoulder to cry on and vent to!
