I am so excited. I was approved by a Yorkie rescue and am traveling tomorrow to pick up my new little guy. His name is Nicky and he is 3 years old and weighs
4.5 pounds. That will be a good size match for Joey. I had asked about him last winter and he had just been adopted. Then I got a call this week that after all these months the family dumped him back at the foster mom's house with no explanation. Now Nicky is afraid of the foster dad whom he used to love and really prefers women. They are afraid that the the husband of the woman who adopted him might have been abusive. Well I live in an all girl household so they remembered my application and called and it happened so fast. Foster mom says he is a great little guy, was a puppy mill rescue. I am so excited and a little nervous. Sadie and Joey are taking the drive up with my daughter and me. Wish us luck. Will post pictures as soon as I can.
