I brought home 2 Bully sticks for both dogs. Suzi our 19 month old yorkie , and Miely boo our 4 month old Shih Tzu puppy. They have had Bully sticks before , no problems!
tonight, was a completely different story

Suzi decides Miely's Bully stick is better then hers , so she goes for it. However , Miely is not haven it . SHe turns aggressive , and it was a horrible fight between the 2. Miely was extremely peeved , then , Suzi was not given up either. This happened 2 times. the first time my son and I quickly intervened , and showed Suzi where her bone was. She went back to it. Everything seemed to have been resolved. Not more then 10 min. later, Suzi tried it again ! this time Miely let out the most horrible, aggressive noise I've ever heard .Suzi still was NOT backing down!
Luckily, I was right next to both of them , and tried holding the puppy back, she was still going peeved though, but small enough that I could control.
We took Suzi in my bedroom with her Bully stick , and left miely out with hers to chew on.
OMG, to think about it, if we were not here to stop them from fighting!!! I thought i did everything right! giving them their own Bully sticks? However, Suzi still wanted to take Miely's away. Miely fought back though, and it was the first time their has EVER been a fight between these two .
Any suggestions? Besides the obvious? keeping them apart when they have their special Bones, however, I have not seen the puppy ever react like this to Suzi. Suzi is always trying to take Miely's toys from her, every time she has one. This time , it was frightning !
I hope this NEVER occurs again between them . Miely is smaller then Suzi, I guess Suzi thinks she can boss her around?

Was this a dominence thing? Or what ?
None of my babies were hurt during the scuffle, thank god. I am going to HAVE TO supervise them now and forever with their bully sticks, putting them away when I can't ! these 2 are like little children .
