This is my first time through the breeding process. I did do my homework and have "reading" knowledge of the stages of heat.....I do, however, lack in knowledge when it is before me as I am new to it.

Where I am from you would typically drop the girl off yes....but this male (who is vet recomended) does perform better outside of his home and if the female is in her own home she is less stressed.

I have not come across the idea of having two people involved in the actual breeding time. That is news to me. I am aware that holding her and keeping them calm (especialy during a tie) is the best way.

Right now I am leaning towards her being a day or two away from accepting him though he is showing all signs that she is ready. In my research I am aware that she should "soften" which will allow him proper access. Again, I am new so what exactly it should feel like is new to me. This is a learning process.
