I agree that a lot has to do with the contract and the circumstances leading to the death of the puppy. If he died at the hands of the owner, then I can see why the breeder wouldn't refund the money. But, if the death was caused by the breeder or as a result of something done or not done by the breeder, then contract or not it is the breder's responsibility. As a side note, for a $4000 puppy, I would have flown out to get him myself and made sure he was healthy. |
