Sasha does the same thing to except she takes them on the carpet (which my mom isn't always fond of lol). Lately though, she usually waits until I get home before she eats. I take the bowl in my bedroom when I'm on the computer and then she usually chows down, or at least eats what she wants. I put a towel under both her food and water bowls. Lately when she's been eating in my room, she hasn't really put the kibbles on my carpet, but instead sets them down on the towel instead. I don't know what goes through their minds.
