i don't understand why governments do not close pet stores and make them all adoption only facilities like petsmarts or petcos, they don't sell the animals they bring in shelters from all over the area to display the animals often and send them home with loving families ready to take on a rescue animal.
selling a puppy in a window for $1000 with supposed AKC registration papers isn't anymore responsible than selling them for $400 with APRI papers. it's disgusting that those babies are cooped up with each other in tiny windows and bothered by thousands of new people every day...i would never buy from a pet store...think of all the germs and things those puppies are exposed to from all those people playing with them and the other little puppies around them...they are way too young to be fully vaccinated and most are way too young to leave their mommys...(I did take that advice and store it away after all ) i just think it's sad how they are treated in pet stores and yet governments have never passed legislation to close the animal selling part of pet stores. |
The Petlands here refer to their puppies as "yorshire terrier TYPE" because they aren't able to have the puppies registered, so they must refer to them as "type". The price....$1200+

They will refuse to give you ANY information about where their puppies come from either. Any person dealing with a responsible breeder should be able to show you the paper work without you purchasing a puppy. They even go as far as to post signs in their stores stating that their puppies come from responsible breeders. YEAH RIGHT!

I won't even buy a bullystick from there, it makes me so angry.
