Ok, then it wouldn't have enough fat on it to upset his tummy and soft poop can be messy, but it not bad, if these is a new food for him, sometimes poop get a little softer untill they get use to it, so don't add too much of this. Liquids don't make poop softer, liquids make pee larger.

One forth of a cup a day, is all Joey eats, so I wouldn't worry about that. He would eat more, if I'd let him though!
