I don't know, I think it sounds like she does not like it. Dogs can hear higher frequencies than we can and they sometimes do not like it. One of ours would do that same thing when my DH played the harmonica on the higher end of the scale. Dog whistles sometimes really bother a dog because of the high pitch. I have read that dogs often howl, whine, etc. when sirens go off because it bothers their ears so much, they try to mask the sound by producing their own sound to soothe their ears.

I am pretty sure your dog is bothered by the sound.
