I think that's debatable, but I do think it has some truth to it. I probably don't have enough experience with Yorkies as I've never been around a tiny one for a long time. But it seems the ones under 5 pounds break legs sooo easy, get injured soo easily. So, fragility is a much bigger issue with the tiny ones, and alot of times the tiny ones who come from backyard breeders and puppymills will have a much harder time if they're teeny tiny.
