Does size matter? My daughter has a big yorkie, I'll have to ask her what he weighs. He whines a lot, but I think that is her fault. She treated it like talking when he was a little pup so that is the way he converses now! My sister-in-law bred a small girl that died right after giving birth to her pups. She was fine and then she was gone. If you don't already know, raising pups is more than giving them a bottle. Mom's licking is what stimulates their digestive system. Mom keeps them clean and so forth. Most vets will tell you that bigger is easier for them if there is a problem. I think the survival rate for bigger dogs after surgery or injury is better than the tinys. I guess I would rather have a kid too big than one too small. I should tell the truth, I never met a yorkie of any size that I did not LOVE! If they are not friendly it is because they need some special attention or they just pick their 2 legged friends carefully.
