So sorry that your baby is sick. I know first hand how sad and scary this type of news can be.
My Brody was diagnosed with the same thing at 6 months. We too have a kidney specialist that did an ultrasound and by that they can tell how under developed the kidneys actually are. The bun and creatine also help to tell if they are in kidney failure yet or not. My little boy is almost one and has been on a special diet and is monitored very closely. Every so often he runs a temp and needs to go into the hospital for fluids and medications to get him somewhat on tract again. I would ask what good will the biopsie do? Would it change the way they would treat your little one or not. PM me if you need to talk.
