My suggestion would be to go to the breeders home and check out his breeding situation and if you like what you see and want one of the puppies, then have him get the puppy Vet. checked and give you the paper from the Vet. Also have an agreement drawn up if the breeder doesn't have one. You can get ideas on what to write up from any of the reputable breeders here on YT. It really doesn't matter if you pay $500.00 or $5000.00, but whether the puppy is a nice solid healthy one, because it will be a family member for many years, hopefully.
