It is really best to speak with a nutritionist that specializes in dogs- ESPECIALLY when it comes to home cooking for a puppy as they have more needs than an adult dog (K/Cals per day, fat intake, protein needs). That being said it is ESSENTIAL that you supplement. I use supplements from Animal Essentials Welcomes You!
They have a multivitamin that Layla gets daily and they have a calcium supplement. This was all recommended by Layla's nutritionist- Holistic Veterinarian Pet Nutritionist Holistic Pet Care
