When I got Apple, at 11 1/2 weeks, she was a little bald behind the ears, and scratching...I thought it was ear mites and took her to the vet....He did a culture, and determined it was a fungus, and gave me ear drops to use everyday for a week, then once a week...I haven't seen anymore scratching behind the ears, and she has her hair back...And, I have to admit, I don't put the ear drops in her ear once a week She just hates it...She's 10 months old now, so I'm guessing she's doing o.k. w/o the drops...I'll definitely start up, if she shows symptoms again....Glad you got your baby to the vet and got some meds...I'm sure he'll be fine and dandy real soon.....
