ok...

They are 3 yrs old and were just taken from the only family that they've been with and now they are in a new place with new people and a new routine....SO...It's gonna take time

I would suggested getting baby gates and keeping them in the kitchen area or hall or some room that doesn't have carpet. Most people free fed their Yorkies and some good brands are: Natural Balance, Wellness, Merrick, Solid Gold

Keep to a routine, they like consistancy Give them lots of love bc they are probably scared and confussed right now.

As far as potty, it all depends on each Yorkie. They may be used to be let out to do potty all the time, so you can't expect them to follow your work hours right away. Can one of you come home at lunch to give them a potty break You should also make it a point to let them out to do potty FIRST thing in the morning and LAST thing at night before bed time.
