I have been a wreck and there have been lots of tears as you could imagine  I wonder if she could have been hyperglcomic (SP) She is a poor morning eater. I leave her food out because of that, but honestly she eats most of it at 4:30. I wonder if this could have happened if her sugar went from low to really high when she ate. |
Sounds like liver shunt sadly
and dr tobias at university of tennessee is the best at this so she is the only one i would trust with surgery -- my friends dog had symptoms at one year as well so it is possible. The bile acids, protein c and scintigraphy will give you a good diagnosis as ultrasound unless they are really good at reading in a small dog are hard to see -- so glad you are getting testing done as if they have surgery they can live a long healthy life
