Honey nut cheerios are a good one, my girls love them, but they love raw carrot pieces and peeled apple and fresh blanched frozen green beans right out of freezer just as much, and I figure those are probably healthier for their teeth than the cheerios. So, I've been using those instead. There is natural sugar in the veggies so I don't worry about glycemia issues. I do worry about too much cereal sugar on their teeth. And as far as teething, I figure they're getting more bang for the buck with the veggies than the cheerios on that front as well. jmho...ymmv
